American Solar Challenge

American Solar Challenge is a competition for student teams to design, build, and drive solar-powered cars that race on a 1500- to 2000-mile cross country course through multiple cities in the United States. Model-Based Design with MATLAB and Simulink products for mathematical modeling, control systems, and physical modeling enables teams to efficiently prototype, build, test, and optimize their solar race cars.
